From the Pic of the Day Archives: April 29, 2017.

We're at Cochrane April 28th where we see ONR Bar Car 1410 and Snack Car 1408 (both originally built by CC&F in 1954) rolling through the south end of the yard for the very last time as part of the tonnage of southbound 414. These 2 cars are part of a 4 car acquisition (which includes Dining Car 1409 and Coach 842) by the York Durham Heritage Railway based out of Uxbridge, Ontario that happened earlier this year. YDHR is also the proud owner of former ONR RS3 1310. For more info on the York Durham Heritage Railway and what they do, visit

Stay tuned for more memories from the Pic of the Day Archives coming soon to this very blog!
